Carol this is absolutely STUNNING - her expression is priceless and shows the sadness felt when a loved one has gone. I lost my husband/soulmate two years ago and know exactly how you are feeling. I wish you well and keep up the good work. I find solace in painting and know that you too express yourself through your art.V
Carol Cavalaris replied:
Thanks for your very lovely comment and vote, Rachel. I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a soul mate is a difficult road, but creating is very healing.

Thank you, Dee. Yes, her eyes have a red tinge. There is a lot of detail that really doesn't show very well in this small size. There are several hearts within the image, including some in her eyes.

Carol, she's glorious, her eyes even have a red tinge to them. A wonderful work of art! Dee

This is a wonderful dedication....
Carol Cavalaris replied:
Thank you, Greg. My husband and I collected hearts throughout our relationship and I wanted to pay tribute to that as well as his memory and the love we shared.

Thanks so much, Carolyn. We are not alone in our grief, and so lucky to have had such great love.
