I live in the middle of a forest in the high country of Colorado. It is the wild beauty of my surroundings that inspires my mixed medium paintings of wildlife and nature. I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something. I have enjoyed many creative adventures, including sculpting, stained glass art, being a display artist, an interior designer, a graphic artist, a copywriter, a songwriter, a novelist, and a creative director. Thank you, Carol, for creating such an harmonious painting ! This rose Pacific Dream ® Pejamblu, was bred by Peter J.James in England. You might know it as "Blue for you" as well. It is an excellent floribunda rose. When the sky is cloudy, the rose does look blue. The bird and the rose are a well-matched couple ! It touches me deeply as the rose garden is a BirdLife Shelter. - Brigitte's Rose Garden - France -
