I live in the middle of a forest in the high country of Colorado. It is the wild beauty of my surroundings that inspires my mixed medium paintings of wildlife and nature. I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something. I have enjoyed many creative adventures, including sculpting, stained glass art, being a display artist, an interior designer, a graphic artist, a copywriter, a songwriter, a novelist, and a creative director. I owned an ad agency with my husband for years, doing everything from producing books to print ads to tv commercials. Painting wildlife and nature, color and detail, are my passions. You have lots of beautiful work, but it's these rainbow color pieces that drew me in. It can be hard packing that many colors in a picture and still make it blend and look good, but you do it well!
