About Carol Cavalaris
I live in the middle of a forest in the high country of Colorado. It is the wild beauty of my surroundings that inspires my mixed medium paintings of wildlife and nature. I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something. I have enjoyed many creative adventures, including sculpting, stained glass art, being a display artist, an interior designer, a graphic artist, a copywriter, a songwriter, a novelist, and a creative director. I owned an ad agency with my husband for years, doing everything from producing books to print ads to tv commercials. Painting wildlife and nature, color and detail, are my passions. Carol, you have an ability to cut straight to the soul with some of your work....This boy looks so much like a lab I used to know - the sweetest, most gentle dog ever. I absolutely love Labs, I have a black lab named Gunner who is an amazing friend and companion. This is beautiful!
