A colorful gathering of dachshunds in rainbow colors, to match a rainbow filled sky, to brighten your day. Inspired by the wonderful memories of my two mini-dachshunds, Slinky and Flirt, who always brought color and joy into my world. This painting is from the Dog & Cat, as well as Fantasy and Rainbow Collections of art by Carol Cavalaris, and part of the Rainbow Doxies Series.

I live in the middle of a forest in the high country of Colorado. It is the wild beauty of my surroundings that inspires my mixed medium paintings of wildlife and nature. I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something.
