Description
Sometimes
On a moonlit night
I hear the song of the wolf
Carried on the wind
Through the tall pines
As I listen
To the haunting howl
Filling the dark blue skies
I want to smile
I want to cry
For all the happy hellos
And sad goodbyes
To those in our lives
And sing along
With all the midnight souls
Kindred spirits
Young and old
Lost and found
Together
We don’t have to sing
The song of the wolf
Alone.
Wolf Song prose by Carol Cavalaris©
A wolf alone in the midnight blue shadows of the forest howls at the full moon, calling out to its mate, and other kindred souls in the night. This artwork pays tribute to the strength, spirit, and song of the wolf. From the Spirit Of The Wild-Wolves Collection of art by Carol Cavalaris.
