I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something. I have enjoyed many creative adventures, including sculpting, stained glass art, being a display artist, an interior designer, a graphic artist, a copywriter, a songwriter, a novelist, and a creative director. I owned an ad agency with my husband for years, doing everything from producing books to print ads to tv commercials. Painting wildlife and nature, color and detail, are my passions. I grew up on a ranch with horses and foals. One of my favorite memories is watching the foals try to eat grass for the first time. Poor things are born with long legs and short necks. Great job with depicting this. I also love how well you did the foal's coat.
Carol Cavalaris replied:
Thanks so much, Jani. How wonderful it must have been to grow up on a ranch, with horses. Just love what you shared about foals.
