Golden Tiger prose by Carol Cavalaris
A rare golden tiger in the glow of a big sun. These majestic animals are a mix of white and Bengal tigers, and there are only a few in the world. As I was working on this artwork I thought about the people and pets I have lost, and how irreplaceable they are. And that in our own way we are all as unique and precious as this rare breed, and that every living creature is a one-of-a-kind creation to be cherished. About Carol Cavalaris
I live in the middle of a forest in the high country of Colorado. It is the wild beauty of my surroundings that inspires my mixed medium paintings of wildlife and nature. I grew up in Southern California and have been creating since childhood, always drawing, painting or making something. I have enjoyed many creative adventures, including sculpting, stained glass art, being a display artist, an interior designer, a graphic artist, a copywriter, a songwriter, a novelist, and a creative director. I owned an ad agency with my husband for years, doing everything from producing books to print ads to tv commercials. Painting wildlife and nature, color and detail, are my passions.
